Large Copper Leaf Imprint Earrings with Stone Beads

These large dangle earrings are made of several copper circle shapes, which are imprinted with a maple leaf skeleton from a tree near my home. The leaf "skeleton" is created when all the of material between the leaf veins has crumbled away, leaving only the veins intact. I roll these delicate pieces through a steel rolling mill to imprint the pattern into the copper and then oxidize the metal to make the impression darker. Since each circle comes from a different part of the leaf, each earring is unique.

There are three "full moon" copper circles of varying size matched with three semi-precious stone charms. The stones include tiger's eye, moonstone, and carnelian and work well with an autumnal color scheme.

The earrings have sterling silver ear wires and jump rings. They are sold with silicone earring backs to prevent loss. They are approximately 2.2" in length. The earrings pictured are the earrings you will receive.
