Olympic Poppy Jasper Triangle Necklace | Washington
Olympic Poppy Jasper Triangle Necklace | Washington
Terra: Olympic Poppy Jasper from the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State.
Storia: This reddish-black stone with red orbs or "poppies" comes from the Northwest coast of Washington State. It's not uncommon to find small pebbles of it on the beach if you know where to look. The stone was collected and cut by Nicole Bennett of Tacoma, WA.
Necklace details: This unique, triangular cabochon is bezel set with fine silver (99%). The bezel is hammer textured. The backplate features a topographic map section of the Olympic Peninsula.
The pendant is 1" W by 1.25" L and the chain is 16" long with a 2" inch extender. Outside of the bezel, all metal is sterling silver (92.5%) and all components are handmade by me, except for the chain.
