Storia: At just under 60 miles in length, Whidbey Island in Washington State is the 4th longest and largest island in the contiguous United States. It is home to an abundance of picturesque beaches lined famous for agates and other unique beach stones. This white and black cabochon was cut by Donna (Cabochons by Donna) of Eagle Point, OR.
Necklace details: This unique, striped cabochon is bezel set with fine silver (99%) in a shadow box setting. The texture surround the cabochon is from an imprint of a Useless Bay--a bay on the island--nautical chart. The pendant is 1.4" W by 1.6" L and the chain is 16" long with a 2" extender. Outside of the bezel, all metal is sterling silver (92.5%) and all components are handmade by me, except for the chain.
